Free stuff in Boulder, some of it ski-related

I'm IN THE PROCESS of cleaning out my dorm. Gotta go do meetings and study and stuff, so I won't be done until tomorrow evening at the earliest.

But I have a bunch of headbands and face gaitors and gloves and stuff that I just don't need and don't want to keep track of over the summer. I've also got 6 or 8 Smith spancered-guy posters laying around that I don't have room for in my bag.

There are t-shirts and bike pumps and other stuff, too. Basically, I'm hoping tomorrow evening and/or much of the day thursday to have a "free shit" market here at Sewall. 95% of the kids in the dorm will be gone, and I'd assume none of the remaining 5% ski, so I figured I'd take a shot at trying to give this stuff away to the maggots.

Let me know if you guys want some free shit. I leave around 9 am Friday morning.

I'll update the thread as I find more stuff to give away.

    Bike pumps huh?

    What kind?

I know you have your heart set on giving this stuff away for free, but if you have a decent pump, not full size floor pump, but the kind you can fit in a camelback, I'll pay shipping plus beer money.

Also have some 26x 2.25 semi-used bontrager tires that I'd like to give away.

Got a floor pump, but I don't think I have a pump that can be used with a bike. Just has a needle on it.

Squatch, I'll drop off a couple gaperbands tomorrow afternon when I drop the bike off. Consider it payment for storing the bike and speakers (which I'd like you to use but not to blow out. I think you'll be pleased...)

leroy, I'll check on that pump for you, mang. I'll be heading to fed-ex thursday afternoon, so i'm sure i'll talk to you before then.

Dude, have you seen (heard?) my speakers? Let's just say that I have had a 1000 watt surround system sitting new in a box for the past 6 months because it "sucks." (And yes, I'd rather not get into an audiophile discussion on here, and I'm aware that there is a lot more to a stereo system than just speakers.)

edit: a second pair of (good) passive speakers has been on my list for a long time...excellent [/burns voice]

Interested in the tires, too, btw. But why are you getting rid of them?

Well as far as the discussion on speakers goes... I got skeeted on.

As far as tires... They're just sitting here and I can't forsee ever using them. I wanted some with better grip for mountain biking, so I took off these.

    Holla, holla!

I'd be interested in the floor pump if it has a working pressure gauge.

Velociraptors, squatch. Seems like it's probably directional tread... I was a bike idiot at the beginning of the year (still kinda am).

No pressure gauge, greg. Damn defective GT pumps...

Hmm...those 2.5s sound nice. i'm trying to scrape some money together for a real bike, but i have an older steel rigid i use with slicks as a commuter. if i can't get a big boy bike and i end up not really needing to commute much, i might try to put those bigger tires on. or perhaps i can find some shitty wheels and make a snow set-up. 'preciated.
