Chaz sends his best. He's had his fair share of scrapes and mishaps, too.

    Update:

Well, things are looking (relatively) good for Scout. His leg is definitely mangled and he's still bleeding from the nose, but no internal injuries that they could find and amazingly no broken bones.

I just took him to an overnight care hospital, and will be taking him back to the vet in the morning for surgery on his leg. Right now we don't know if he's torn any ligaments or anything, but they are hoping its just muscle injury. It looked like at least an 8 inch long deep gash on the inside of his rear leg.

I'm still feeling terrible that he's had to go through this, but relieved he's going to pull through. It could have been a lot worse. He's a tough guy, so I'm sure he'll be back on his feet as soon as he can.

Thanks for all the thoughts, it means a lot.

Couple of weeks ago, Kira was out for her run when she saw a fox that she wanted to chase. She tailed it for 2-3 miles before she crossed the street and was hit by a passing car. She didn't make it and it's been a tough loss .

Glad to hear Scout survived, hopefully he'll be back to normal in no time.

    Another Update:

Well, he's still not home yet, and they stitched his leg up this afternoon. Unfortunately his knee is way more damaged than they had hoped. Sliced ligaments apparently, so he'll be referred to an ortho soon for more surgery.

It could be way worse, but it still sucks and I feel terribly for him. I haven't even thought about the cost yet. Ugh. At least he's alive, I don't know what I would do if I lost him. Since I broke up w/ my gf almost a year ago, he's pretty much been my best friend.
    It's not that I'm lazy, it's that I just don't care.
