    Spins around Sloan's

I have a hard time getting out of bed if I don't have an appointment. (self employed) So I am looking to start doing some spins around Sloan's Lake. Since I can't seem to get out there on my own, checking to see if anyone else wants to get out. Convenient for me as I can ride my bike to the Lake. I don't have a computer at the moment, but laps around are 10 minutes or so. Half of the lake has a designated bike lane where I sprint, and the other half you have to go slow/dodge pedestrians. I am hoping in the morning it might be less crowded, afternoons around 4 or 5 it is pretty busy.

Unfortunately I only have a mtn bike at the moment, so I am not setting blinding speeds. Thinking 7:00 or 7:30 am for a start time. Maybe 2-3 days a week.

Once it gets really warm in the mornings, might change this into mtn rides up Green Mtn or similar.

Let me know if you are interested.

Put on some long pants and ride Green Mtn now... you're going to get bored as hell doing laps on pavement riding a mountain bike.

huh? I ride about 6 days a week for 8/9 months a year, I ride the mtn bike on pavement plenty already. The new part would be getting out in the morning...

If I had a road bike I would ride it.

I don't want to drive to the hills everyday. That is an hour round trip, and seems like a waste of time (and gas) when I just want to get out and get the blood moving.

I do drive to Falcon, Waterton, Apex, etc on weekday afternoons 2/3 days a week, and ride Buffalo Creek, Kenosha, etc on weekends.

Oh... I thought you could ride to the mtb trails. Misunderstanding on my part.
