Im always impressed with the maggot knowledge that abounds, and with all the heated political threads, why not create the official Maggotician? Since we are pretty good at raising/donating $$, we sould be able to support a viable canidate.
My plan: 2 1/2 years proir to next election, maggot community nominates canidates, then conducts simple poll. For two years leading up to the election, nominated canidate cruises around country with full gear stopping at favorite kayak, biking, surfing, etc, and of course skiing spots. At each venue, canidate mingles with locals to spread politcal message and of course STOKE. I think this could seriously work.
