I am the Master of Ebay!

In the past 8 hours I've replaced both my car stereo (Sony Xplode) and my broken minidisc with a Sony Net Recorder MD for a grand total of $95 clams.

    Now just pray they work.

Other items I've purchased on Ebay, all in working order:

--Persian Rug $25 plus $20 shipping
--2 dozen duck decoys $55 plus $15 shipping
    --Gameboy Advanced plus Zelda $50
--Tony Hawk Underground for PSII $28
    --Lesbostrap 3000 v 3.5 with optional wool gloves $320

ebay is the place to buy rugs. Seriously. You can get a good, full-size new rug for under $250 if you play it right. Highly recommended.

I would be VERY reluctant to buy rugs on eBay. The difference in quality between a $25 rug, a $250 rug and a $2500 rug are substantial, but not always apparent to an untrained eye.

Point being, you could easily buy a $25 rug for $250, thinking it was a $2500 rug.

Very true. But you, owning two labradogs yourself, should know that said rug won't last too long in its current condition, anyway. So $25 is a safe bet.

    I should rephrase,
You can buy a good household, kick-around, who-cares-who-walks-or-shits-on-it rug on ebay for less than $250. A good investment considering they still look nice.

    eBay addicts unite!

My friend gives me these new PS2, XBox and Game Cube games and I say, "I'm not the game type. They'll just gather dust." She replies, "Well give them away or sell 'em" Done deal. 2 hours to go and the grand total is $150. Looks like I'm ordering a new soft-shell.(hook-up pricing) Thank you game freaks.

There's a new Sony Mini Disc coming out sometime soon that will hold up to 10 hours (yes hours) of music on one disc the same size as the current one. It was just previewed at the Electronics show in Vegas. Supposed to be better competition for the Ipod than the current model, although I love mine just the way it is.

Just picked up Tony Hawk Underground last week, and I've been playing like a freakin' crack addict ever since.

I'm also in need of a rug, but Persian might be too dark considering my complexion. Oh, you meant a house rug. Nevermind.

ebay is frighteningly addictive. And, for those of you in metropolitan areas, craigslist.org is even worse. In SF, it's huge (a community bulletin board where you can buy/sell stuff, rent/find apartments, have all sorts of political rants, and on and on).

I've bought nearly all my furniture for the house I moved into on craigslist. Just scored an amazing rustic pine armoire - HUGE - for $100.

Rugs on ebay are harder (at Rev's suggestion a while ago, I've been shopping there). Finally decided the safest thing to do was to buy the brand new Pottery Barn rugs they sell (overstock) for about $300 less than PB sells them for. That way I can check em out in the store and get them for less at ebay.

also got lph a cool Pez dispenser for his collection on ebay.

Count me in. A recent triumph was a nearly new pair of older TNF Steep Tech double side zip Ultrex ski pants for $30 delivered!
Not to mention a 3 year Powder Mag subscription for $12!
Also scored my Head World Cup boots for $63, Brand New!
Am currently shoppin' for the complete Monty Python's Flying Circus 14 DVD set. Best Buy sells it for $150, plenty to be found for around $100 on eBay!
