might be moving to bozeman next summer

I hear its a kick as place to live and my bro will be moving back there from AK. maybe one day i will be a real powder maggot! Obviously Big Sky and Bridger are there. but do i need to outfit/train myself for BC out there? is that where all the action is? does anyone work in a skishop out there, can tell me if you can make a living doing that (and details)? do you ski for free if you do?

TGR is in Jackson. Not Bozeman. It's this whole 'nuther state or something. They're about 3 or 4 hours apart.

So why would people who live in Jackson know the whole scoop about Bozeman? Why are you asking Jackson residents if any of them works in a skishop in Bozeman?

WHY NOT JUST ASK BOZEMAN MAGS???????????????????? OR PEOPLE WHO HAVE LIVED IN BOZEMAN???????

The benefit of Bozeman is, they have a very organized special educations program. There's several retard colonies in town, and I know where many of them are, so I could point show you exactly where you could live.

Heck, I'll be able to take you skiing every weekend, with EagleMount and all.

Way to make an honest mistake,

    YOU FUCKING JONG!!!

Bozeman totally blows. Most of the people living in Bozangeles are transplants from another state who sold their house, moved to the mountains, and are driving real estate through the roof!! A street which didn't even exist ten years ago now has strip malls, box stores, hotels, Tiffany jewlers, Lloyds of London, and two Jaguar dealerships, lined up from end to end. You'll see so many Hummers you'll think you're in California (because you will be).

Bridger's lines on a pow day aren't even worth waiting for, because when you finally get your -30 degree ass on a slower than shit forty year old double with no pad it will take you like 900 vertical feet. Big Sky leaves people on the chair overnight. Seriously.

And Whirling disease killed all the fish. Look it up.

Lexi-I guess your living on that road that didn't exist 10 yrs ago and that you're not form here either. You must be third generation dush-bag!
    Way to contribute!

stuckathuntermtn-Welcome. My wife and I moved here three years ago. There's about 3 to 5 shops to choose from. I'm sure you could make it...depending on what standard of living you are looking for. Lot's of cheap housing and work if you come right after spring semester. Definately an employee's market in the summer...just make sure you set yourself up for the winter ahead of time. Lot's of kid's trying to work in the ski shops, but if you have experience you'll be golden. My buddy worked at one shop and his bridger pass was $250, which is normally $570. My suggestion would be to try and set yourself up at Big Sky for the winter if alls you are trying to accomplish is ski bumming. Lot's more vert and Moonlight is the goods with all the new BC gates at both resorts. Definately invest in a probe, shovel and beacon or noone will ever take you any where. Freeride BC bindings optional, especially for your first season. Meet people and learn the area before start wondering all over the place.

the 's are from the collective disgust at stuckathunter's complete and utter jong-ness. Despite 200 posts, he can't seem to get his shit together to post anything worth reading and has proven to be an ignorant, racist idiot that would be much better off if he would post, then smoke crack. Or at least read instead of asking dumb and already answered questions.

...aaaaand beb, you gave a truthful answer to an already dumb motherfucker asking the wrong questions in the wrong place. Plus, when corrected, he still doesn't get it. Way to reward poor behavior, which just encourages more.

I have no problem with people asking what the lowdown is on the Bozone, and would be stoked to share my information about it, but the "ask TGR" section is the wrong place to do it.

Anyone should be able to see my post was a wise-assed response, sorry the sarcasm is lost on you. Remind me not to try and be funny around you. Too bad I can't "contribute" like you, maybe someday if I try really hard...

Yes, I migrated to Montana from somewhere else, just like everyone except the native americans. And I'm a 5th generation douche-bag, motherfucker!!

sorry to all, it seems I have misunderstood this board yet again. I'm not sure I ever will. The jong harrassment seems to be the real point to this whole thing or at least some of you. Who gives a shit where the question appears or by who or how many times that person has spoken before to you. I thought this board was created to bring pepes of the same thread together and clear up or inform the masses about what makes us tick.
On a lighter note...if I had the time to respond, I'd start a "Jongs Unite" Thread so I could be roasted for the remander of my stay here at TGR. I love sarcasm Lexi and it just seemed like you guys were picking on the guy for no good reason. Sorry to break up the bash. And respect for what Lexi, the fact you were born anywhere dosen't warrent anyone's respect for anything. It's that frat boy attitude that ruins great places.
I guess this board requires some sort of dues to be paid and I just don't believe in that horse shit. Thanks for the info tgr and the BRO's, maybe I could have made a better effort to get to know you Bozone Mags but I suck at typing anyway. Great info here and the funds you guys raise for fellow mags are amazing.....MAD PROPS.....hope you guys have lots of Big Tits and Slushy Snow!

    I'm out

(of course I'll read the roast to follow, so bring it...but don't expect a response)

Alright I'm back...not that anyone cares, but I've reinvented myself as my former nickname benDover from a former life, that I need to grasp alot better than I have been.

Sorry about before, I just shouldn't type on bad days to people I hardly know.

Hope all is forgiven and I love a PBR next season!

    That is all.
