    SICK!

5 1/2 hours drive time from Mammy to SF via 203 to 395 to 89 to 88 to 99 to 4 to 5 to 205 to 580 to 80!!!! NO TRAFFIC! NO CARS! Driving past Kirkwood was a little erie considering that had more snow than Mammoth, but still nice to look at.

That would sum up the last two days...huge group of great people skiing the every inch top to bottom of the Mammoth May conditions. Met tons of people, too hard to make time for introductions, especially when you're jonesing to make laps. Anyway, I've got a couple "quality" pics that I need to sort out, but too damn tired to do the bloggage.

Yeah, lent my Bro's out to Dwanis from adventurefilmworks.com for a few runs and I took his Tankers. First time I was ever on them and I DEFINITLEY got in the backseat a few times.

Thats soooo crazy, I saw a picture of that guys factory in Powder Magazine, where was that factory in that picture? Those skis look really original, like 125 at tip or something, are those powder skis? Anyways seem cool and i am glad to see that Bro company is keeping it innovative!!!

Just barely got in and am still wired from the drive. 18 hours of driving for two days of skiing. Totally worth it.

I took a few pictures so I'm not done with this thread quite yet.

Just got home from the Mini...Holy that was a blast. Had a great time meeting a lot of the Mags, getting to ride with the crew, and watching some insane skiing. TOTW and P4 were going off yesterday and today with the Mags.

Huge props to all that made the journey out to Cali from out of state and country to ride the Mammy corn.

    A couple teasers:

666, Top of the World (yes, the horizon is normally crooked like that)

    Squirrel and the harvest moon

Many, many more to come. But, I'm tired now so they'll have to wait.

Looks like a BLAST! I just punched myself in the head...twice...for not being there.

Yogachik, I love your new avatard!

And I really want one of those "If you let him go..." t-shirts.

Fun times for all. It was a blast skiing with the Maggots. I went on the DL while skiing with the Mags. I came off the DL skiing with the Mags.

I look forward to seeing more pics as the days progress.

    Non maggot J

(It's J.J.) OK, I'm no longer a "non-maggot", with my offical first post here. It was great seeing some of you guys again that I met last year, and it was nice meeting some of you for the first time and getting some turns with all y'all.

BTW, that's my hand on Yoga's ass, so I guess I've been on the board for a year now, in at least one form. And after the photo shoot with Splat, I've think Yoga should change her name to "Reverse Cowgirl".

    So where's the huck photos??
Well, if you look closely, I think you'll see a member of the Z-Team doing some back-seat screeching as a result of a massive half-foot huck. I believe the shot captures the moment just before a series of linked quasi-recoveries that eventually resulted in a minor explosion and a lost pole. Can't win 'em all.

No pics from me, but words will follow tomorrow once I've recovered from my jaunt back east.

Short version: Good times once again.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and thanking the drivers, the condo-mates, and the local guides for really making this happen),

Just downloaded some more pics from Friday. Looks like things started getting a little more out of control after I left.

Splat giving Viva his version of a str8line camp.

RidgeHippy wins the "biggest grin" award for the day. I wish I had a pick of him when he took a different line down and came through a corn filled bowl with about 10 Maggots at the bottom cheering him on. Classic stuff.

Ah nothing like the rare air at 11K.

ShintoWin took us on a hike to the Avi chutes.

Up the hill and over the rocks to virgin corn we go.

Another Bro model catalog shot. Shin and Buddy B picking their chute.

Hmmm, so many choices so much time.

ps--If anyone wants the full-sized copies (2 mb) of any of the photos, just pm me an address and (I will burn them on a cd or email them)...I also have about 50 more pictures I took as well...
