Any SF mags wanna teach a noob how to surf?

So I've been surfing a couple times before on a longboard and am not very good. I really want to learn how to become more competent and surf better. I've looked into surf schools in the Bay Area and they are mostly geared towards kids or are expensive...

So the question is... Are there any SF/Bay Area maggots that would be interested in teaching a surf JONG how to competently surf?

    Just a little background..
I am extremely comfortable in the water. I've logged over 50 SCUBA dives, am Swift Water Rescue Level I & II certified, and am very proficient in the Ocean. I also was a CA certified EMT if that means anything (cert expired and I never renewed).

I am looking for some technique pointers/advice, etc.... Maybe a couple of sessions might do it. I would be willing to compensate whoever with a little $, beer, or whatever....(no sexual favors unless you have an extra X chromosome ) Probably Ocean Beach or somewhere down in Pacifica might be a good place to start. I've swam out at Ocean Beach several times and am pretty comfortable with the currents out there.

If anyone's down and has maybe a little experience, I'd really appreciate the help. PM me or post here if you're interested...

Well, you also wanted an "extra" X chromosome....so I think hermaphrodite may be the tip, err, of the iceberg.

Check out surfline.com Surfology. The Surf School section is good as is the Bill of Rights and Lefts, which will help you avoid making enemies. The pop up section and video is really good. Get some jbrother videos and watch them. Surf like Joel. Go to Pacifica State Beach (Taco Bell), ride the small easy breaks with the other begginers probably somewhere from the parking lots to the south end. Instead of bobing around, catch a lot of waves/white water and do everything perfectly. Organize the Nor Cal '06 Surf Jong Mini. Have fun.

    Quick review:
