    stem searching

    here's what i need, oversize 31.8, 30 degree (or more), 120mm or so length. god knows i tried every site i could find, any help would be mucho appreciated.

    this for road or mtn?
    if for mtn, could you get by with a shorter ~90mm @ 30* with a riser bar?

    edit: nm on that link, it was for a 25.4. I did find a 70mm 25* hope though on jensonusa.com

    thanks but need a 31.8 diameter clamp, that is a 25.4...for the mountain bike by the way.

    my trusted site is bikeparts.com, they even couldn't come thru....tried jenson, and many others............last resort would probably be one of those threadless stem riser things

    theres a 120mm 25degree stem on ebay right now
    it doesnt say what bar size its for though.
    its cheap enough though you could just buy a new bar.

    did or done much of the suggestions, i have a 30 degree stem (25.4), and a 2-1/2"' rise bar........just doesn't have the same ride feel as the oversize 3" rise bar and 31.8 bontager 17 degree stem i'm using now. funny, front end height is about equal going with each of above combinations (standard vs. oversize).

    bigger travel fork, or a bigger tire to get the extra lift?

    what about FSA and raceface?

    Is 28 degrees enough? No problem. I have a bunch at the shop. If you need I can order one for you next week.
