    Superman Returns

Ok, so the first trailer was a nice little teaser.

But then the second one came out...

Okay, that was pretty good. I like how they're keeping some elements from the first Reeve movie.

Kevin Spacey looks like he's gonna be an entertaining villain. Beyond that I give it a meh.

I guess the basic plot is that Superman is just returning from a 7 year disappearance. No one knows where he went or why he left, and Lois is married and has a kid. Could be very cool.

Looks good, though I've been a Smallville fan for a few years now. They filled in so much backstory with Clark, Lex, and Lois that I hope they don't gloss over some of those details in this movie. It's cool to see what a bigger budget gets you though. Frankly, I'm a fan of Tom Welling as Clark Kent. A Michael Rosenbaum does a hell of a job as Lex Luthor. Weird to see other actors playing them!

Damn...I'm looking forward to that. Is it just me, or does Brandon Routh's portrayal of Clark remind you of Reeve's efforts? I thought it was amazing how similar they looked to play the same character. And I guess it shows when I grew up, Gene Hackman will always be Lex Luthor to me...

Yeah, I agree. But Kevin Spacey does look like he could pull it off.

You'd think they could bring the Superman suit into the next century though. That looks about as ridiculous as Kush dressed as Batman. Overall, yawn, meh, blah. Unless I hear crazy good reviews I doubt I'll even rent this one.
