well, i've finally bought myself a dvd player. always had roomates that owned sweet electronics stuff... but am now on my own. today's woot seems fine for me, a guy who isn't that rich and doesn't care that much about fancy stuff. no more having to watch dvd's on the laptop computer! yay. thanks for the heads up, cyberfuzz.

Best thing I ever bought on WOOT was a two-fer of portable DVD players a year ago for $100 each. The kids love them in cars/planes, and they still work. However, the long range radios I bought didn't work with Ice's Motorolas, so they suck ass.

The best part is the $5 shipping, regardless of size/weight. Those TVs would cost another $100 shipping anywhere else. Too bad they're dumping their outdated 720p stuff to make room for 1080i/1080p screens.
