    Ocean Mist, Matunick, RI

Anyone here out at the break by the Ocean Mist in Matunick, RI this weekend? I was out in front fishing Sat and Sun and it looked very, very nice and smooth out there.

I was in south of Portland, ME yesterday -- very clean, decent size, good sets stacking up fairly far out to sea. NESurf said it's even better down your way.

sets were very consitent, waves were 5-6ft and no chop at all. Winds were consistent at 20-25knots or more from N/NE, almost straight offshore.
At the West Wall of Jerusalem you could see the waves pour into the beach from the back and side angles (on the jeti), it was very pretty to watch. I saw a guy with a camera shooting and talking with the surfers. i'll look around and maybe find some shots to post.

the Joyce Fmaily Pub is about three houses down from the OM, so yeah, same area, close to Charlestown.
I don't live there, but I grew up close by and have friends in the area so I go as much as possible.
    are you in the area?

I hit up Little Compton on Saturday. Knee-high sets, clean, and nobody there. Not bad in my book.

One of the best East Coast days of my life was landing in RI while following a hurricane up the coast from Cape Hatteras . We ended our trip in I think it was Point Judth RI.? I just recall some nice overhead rights.
