Nice CS! Thanks for the pics. Anyone for Virgin area Nov 4 weekend? I've got plans for Fruita that weekend but it looks like south is the way to go weather-wise...

That could be more possible than this weekend for me. I've been working a lot of holidays so have some time saved up. The only reason I couldn't go this weekend was previous plans.

On another note..........tell me when you can come ride Post Canyon up in the OR.

    not kidding

FKNA. ^^^ is definitely in the top 1% of maggot biking pics, and it wasn't even shot by the guy who's behind the camera for quite a few of the others in that 1%. Nice work CS and co.

Thanks all, glad you have enjoyed the pics.

Funny thing about that drop, is Mr. AG found it and said something about me hitting it. We were below him and I told him something like, yeah, sure, whatever. But after a couple trips down a big ass bowl to wall-ride I was feeling good and figured I might as well check it out. I should have known I would end up hitting it, I have a weakness for those things.

I have no idea what to expect from Virgin. To be honest, I mostly want to go down to take some pictures, but knowing me, I'll end up riding my bike off of something. Who knows.

Excellent work on and off the bike dude! How was the 'in air' time on that stepdown compared to the drop and jumps at the end of empire? Looks like you are pretty comfy...

    It felt about the same.

No mushroom. We were running late so didn't have time to play on that one. Next time. And there is so much riding and picture-taking potential out there it boggles the mind. Definitely need to spend a whole day out there.

nah I was saying that was my jealousy making the claim that cs would just pull out his camera and not ride much.

That's only because I know the guy he's meeting up with wants to go hit the old red bull zone. Scary.

Ok, here are some pics from the weekend in Virgin. That place has so much potential for both riding and picture taking, I can't wait to go back.

There was a sweet hip just above where we were camped.

Random dude sending a ravine gap.

A buddy on his "warm-up" line (which is actually pretty damn fun)

    Another shot of the hipper.

Kidwoo's buddy, Carl, on a fun line down a ridge.

Kidwoo finished off the same ridge line with a fun little drop.

    Kidwoo, sending the ravine gap.

    A sequence:

From a different angle, and without color.

Carl, airing the first of 4 huge doubles.

And again, sending a fun step-down gapper.

    Kidwoo, doing the same.

Even I got in on the fun.

    Couple different angles.

And another shot of Kidwoo sending the big'un.

And that's that. Maybe I'll get out for some more pictures, but who knows. Thanks for letting me share.
