Ok. It's been a while since I had the camera out. And even though all but one of these has nothing to do with biking, well, it's my compilation thread so I can put whatever damn pictures I want in it.

Whoa. Anyways. A cool light show when the sun was setting a couple days ago. Cue the music...........and enjoy.

Again, not biking, but this kid was boostin large in the skate park. Unfortunately, as soon as I started taking pics, he stopped jumping.

I just thought this shot turned out kinda cool.

    Finally, one bike shot:

And it's been over a week since I've been on my bike.

    I'm starting to twitch.....

I can't believe you put up a picture of a fruit booter. I'm a little upset.

Yeah, I know. It wasn't easy for me to do. But, the kid was damn good and going large so I have to give him that. I'll try not to let this happen again.

Just came across this little tidbit over on NSMB and found it quite entertaining. Turns out that bagtagley, CS, Mr. AG, et al are riding stuff even the pros sometimes won't touch (Gulevich, Voreis, Lenosky):

Tyler Morland was the only one to run the chute:
Not one to be outdone by his fellow pros, Tyler Morland threw down and rode this really tight chute that everyone else took a pass on.

The entrance wasn't so bad, but the bottom was a seriously tight turn that had to be executed before that root, and there was no room for error - just out of frame, there's a long, loose embankment that would not have been fun to go over.

And once you made the turn, cleared the root, and made it over the rocks, the next section of singletrack was coated in sand the consistency of powdered sugar. Somewhat less than stellar traction.

    Pretty cool yall.

Damnation. I had to unbury this from page 7. I been slackin big-time on the photos. Been having too much fun jumping the bike to get off and take pics.

However, I did get some shots of a couple bmx'ers at Tanner, and a load of dh'ers from Deer Valley.

    Enjoy.

    Now, for some real bikes.

Semi pros at the finish drop.

    Using all of that travel...

The ladies, just coming out of the woods above the finish drop.

Ok, I'm tired. That's good for now. More tomorrow, including g-out carnage to smokescreen wall tumble, and Minnaar smooveness.

Yeahhhh! That bottom out pic is intense. CLACK! The air pressure inside of that fork at that particular moment is grande.
    Thanks CS

    Hmm, just saw this.

They all must've been sick or something. Lenosky could front wheelie down the Notch with Voreis hucking over him.

And finally, the pros. I escaped the dusty woods and headed back down to join the AG's next to the finish drop. I was right next to it so I shot with a wide lense so wasn't able to shoot real tight on the racers. Oh well.

The brake bumps leading up to the finish drop were haneous, and these shots do it no justice. But it was interesting to see the different styles of approach to the drop.

Also, of the 60 something racers, only like 4 or 5 even hit the 3-tier section. Most went with the smaller 2-tier. Anyways, here are the pros:

This guy pre-jumped the whole thing about 10 or so feet before the drop. It was cool.

    Some of the 3rd-tier approach/drops.

This guy did the damn thing with a flat rear tire. And, for some reason, I didn't get a shot of him actually doing the drop

The carnage sequence. Dude washed out, looked like he was getting up, then right back to the ground off the end of the wall.

Minnarr. He bunnyhopped over most of the big brake bumps, landed just before the takeoff and held it all together. Dude was flyin. My camera shoots 5 frames a second, so in the one second it took to take this 5 shots he covered some serious ground.

ok, some shots of bags on the Crest and Empire.

    Ze Crest.

    Purty flowers.

    The spine.

    High line.

    Mill D.

Many thanks to bags for hiking the sping multiple times for pictures and waiting around while I went ahead to find places to shoot.

Now, on to Empire. Only shot in one place really, but there is more to come (hopefully) as we finish cleaning it up and spend some more time up there. And a space is reserved for a shot of bagtagley sending Sizzler.

    Heading down the corkscrew.

The ladder just before the corkscrew.

    Corkscrew sequence.

Thank ya. And no prollum on taking tha pics. Not to mention you did pretty damn good considering you didn't even think you were going to attempt it.

Bagtagley and I are hitting up the dirt jumps at Tanner tomorrow eve, around 6:30 til dark. You are more than welcome to join us. It could be interesting since I haven't dirt jumped in over 2 weeks.
