That'd be very cool. Obviously plenty of material to work with.

Damn, so many great pics...categories would be of value, several impressive hucks, an incredible, techinical line by B11's, iski's sweet shot that brings out (to me) the equally enjoyable mountaineering component that opens up a whole other world in skiing. I felt like today that I was coming to terms with the days of pow being virtually done until the fall...until I saw all those great powder shots. Great photog work, too.

    Thanks for the stoke!!

Some difficult choices, as the maggot community really stepped it up in the photography category this year.

There are some excellent amateur photographers on this board that contribute on a regular basis. It's really hard to narrow it down to just one photo. On that note, I think dividing things into categories would be best.

Grizzle, CS, and GT40 are constantly putting up high quality work. Love their stuff. Always love opening a thread from these three. These guys definitely get the consistency award in my book.

While Astros work is amazing, isn't he considered a "pro" photog? I know he has his own website and markets his work for sale.

If I were to choose an overall best, it would go to Summit for his capture of Blurred's line. Awesome work, great line.

I wanted to mention this about one of the nominations, which was Grizzle's photo of a pro skier, not a mag or amateur friend.

But the one that effected me most was definitely the one of Kya up on Pyramid.

I was thinking about the same thing when I nominated that shot but I figured the nomination was more for the photog than the skier.

Wow, pretty tough choices. It's kind of a toss-up [for me] between Shoes and the Pyramid Peak photos. I may be partial to the HA shot, having watched it in person - but knowing the sheer magnitude of the feat and pucker factor of the moment kind adds to the photo. As far as Kya's shot - absolutely breathtaking. I think we can all agree that it truly captures the essence of why each one of us get up every morning and approach life with open arms.

I think we should continue the thread for more submissions, categorize them, and start a HOF thread to be locked, stickied & updated yearly with the biggest stoke of the season. 1 post per year. No comments, just stoke.

    Best huck/park/pipe stoke
    Best pow shot
    Best landscape?
Most likely to end up as a magazine ad
    Best NSR or non-action gaper-steeze
    Best overall

    I dunno, just some thoughts.

I'm nominating GT for this one. Sure I'm the skier (that obviously exploded), but there has to be some sort of award for watching your son do that and not dropping the camera.

Funny. I was thinking of nominating that one, but I didn't want to remind you of it. It looks like it hurt.

Best shot I have seen on here in a couple years (great composition, perfect light):

This gets my vote hands down. I dabble in photography as a hobbie, and I am unworthy of this groovy picture.

Some one should do a poll of the biggest nominations to date...

    Those where Fuggin' Schweet!

How about Maggot Photo Annual to pay for nominee’s Summit participation………………everyone would benefit from the sickness.

All these pics are great. But my vote goes to the one that I would most want blown up. And this picture below in a 5' x 4' frame would be incredible. It certainly has a certain "inspiration" type quality to it.
