    [rant]

No time to read this thread this morning but wanted to say...

    Lazy ass illegals?

    WTF?

Lets see your ass get out there and pick veggies for min wage, or lay sod for $5 / hr is 90 degree heat for 14 hours a day.

They are here because WE won't do the that work - pure and simple... if the jobs were not here for them they would not be here for the jobs... pure Keynesian Ecomomics.

If you want to talk about lazy asses lets hijack this thread to discuss

    Lazy Ass Welfare Dynasties

    or

    ADC for Fun and Profit

    or

Welfare, you don't HAVE to work.

The root of this problem lies with US, not them.

and, as I wind down my rant... Consider how much more you'd pay for so many things you buy if the "lazy ass illegals" didn't provide cheap, abundant, reliable labor.

    [/end rant]

The illegal alien situation is a racket. Its a win win for the Politicians and Big Corporations. The liberals scream "racism", the conservatives scream "build a wall". Meanwhile as we all test eachothers intellectual wit on the internet, they all go to bank. Now, usually when big gov't and Big corporations are on the same page, we the average joe are getting screwed. I ask you all to consider this.

ummh...not really. being african is a leading indicator of malnutrition, though. meaning an african is more likely to be malnurished than a similar American, Euro, etc.

it is a fact that people that speak spanish as their primary language at home are more likely to be under the poverty line, than not.

So while the liberals scream "racism", the conservatives scream "build a wall", the gov't and corporations are on the same page - you scream "consider this" ??

No wonder they all bank on screwing us. Too bad I get the government you deserve.

again it is an indicator, not a cause of poverty. additionally, the asians are not catered to in government offices or generally with commerce. how many se habla signs do you see compared to the like asian language specific phrase? thus the asians are forced to learn english to go about their daily lives, the spanish speaker is not. ipso facto the asian is more likely to learn the english language, therefore making him/herself more employable.

Uh, gyptian, you haven't been to California have you? There are shopping centers with no English signs in sight. You can get government forms, or a translator in something like 20+ languages.

You can find immigrant communities catering to the language needs anywhere. My greatgrandmother lived in the US for 40 years and never learned to speak English... Finnish was all she ever needed.

I realize that. It's a great way to keep the majority of those people poor. It makes it even harder for them to rise above the poverty they currently live in.

congrats of your great grandmother, but I would say she is the exception. it's like using Dexter Manley as an example of not needing to learn to read to make millions of dollars.

you're right though, I do avoid California like the plague.

The indicator is education. How many ESL classes are there for Chinese, Japanese, or Korean speakers? The kids must learn to communicate in english to pass school, thus providing them better chances of going to college (which are 99% english speaking) and providing them with a degree. With that degree, they pull themselves out of the poverity cycle.

Spanish speaking students are catered to. They recieve a second rate education because of it. Once they realize the only way to succeed in an ENGLISH SPEAKING NATION is to COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY IN ENGLISH, they will be successful.

Now as far as 'mericans not doing the backbreaking labor, destroy the welfare system. If American's begin truly suffering because illegals are taking jobs from citizens, there will be a very real backlash.
I've concluded that DJSapp was never DJSapp, and Not DJSapp is also not DJSapp, so that means he's telling the truth now and he was lying before.

I wouldn't say Hispanics are lazy at all. They seem to show some of the strongest work ethic in America.

I will say however, that if I moved to a foreign country, you'd better bet your balls, that I would be learning the language before arrival. Regardless of ethnicity, if "they" learned English, I could probably provide better and more comfortable care. Is it my responsibility to learn Spanish, Punjabi, Farsi, Arabic, etc? I don't think so.

Of course it does. The prices inflate beyond what their own currency can handle. Their own currency undergoes hilarious inflation compared to the imported one. Therefore anyone actually paid in the domestic currency can't afford jack to eat. The only people not complaining are the leeches sucking off the influx. Sheeyit, the Allies tried to do this to Germany how many times during the war?

If they did manage to tax at 5% of the estimated 17 Billion(and that is JUST to mexico) that would be 850,000,000 in revenue. That would go a long way to reducing all the hostility that many, including myself, have toward illegal immigrants that are a drain on the economy.
    Think again.

Imagine instead of $$$, that the illegals are sending semi trucks full of US goods that they earned with their labor. How would THAT hurt the US economy?

A dollar is a tradeable coupon to buy US goods. What you are referring to is effectively a sales tax.

The flaw in your logic is that you assume all the money is being spent back inside the US. IT IS NOT! It is being sent back to MEXICO. Do you think the family in Guadalajara gets money from their loved illegal alien in Houston, they call up a US mail order catalog?

US dollars sent to Mexico get exchanged for Pesos.

of course, it should be noted that the mexicans/guatamalans/nicagaruans/ etc etc etc have far more claim to being in this country that we, the white folks do.
