Red face Iran Nuclear Situation (Recent SCARY Developments NSR)

Since the mainstream media really doesn't care about international news until it actually explodes...

    During the last few days:

    1. Iran declares no intentions to stop their Uranium enrichment process which France, US, and UK claim will be used for nuclear weapons.

    2. IAEA sends a team to Iran and is expected to report to the UN soon that Iran is defying the UN.

    3. Iran has warned that any attack against it will be met with overwhelming response.

    4. Iran took its first delivery of RM25 ballistic missiles (North Korean version of SS-N-6) capable of delivering a nuclear (or chemical or biological warhead, which they have already) warhead to Eastern, Central, and parts of Western Europe!!!

    5. China warned against any attack on Iran.

    6. Russia warned against any attack on Iran.

    7. Russia announced that their Tu-160 strategic bombers (nuclear) penetrated US airspace without detection.

    Brief Background:
USA: rumored to be considering some sort of military strike against Iranian Nuclear Installations. Meanwhile in the country there will be millions marching through the streets with Mexican flags on May 1. Where is our attention?

France: Scared enough of a nuclear Iran to lose political points by backing the US/UK in the UNSC.

Iran: The "moderate" government was ousted in recent elections with a new hardliner president elected in line with the Ayatollahs and Revolutionary Guard.

They have continually thumbed their noses at the UN and IAEA (International Atomic Energy Agency).

They have restarted their enrichment program claiming it is only for peaceful energy purposes (worlds 4th largest petroleum exporter). Enrichment program coincides with expanded claims that Israel's destruction is imminent.

Russia: Iranian ally since the fall of the Shah. Business partner of Iran. Supplier/builder of nuclear technology, enrichment technology, and Uranium to Iran. Supplier of Iranian weapons.

China: Though primary trade partners are 1. USA 2. Walmart, their export economy is rapidly building their internal infrastructure and middle class shifting their economy to an internal consumerist economy. They are very reliant on oil imports such as those from Iran which is one of the closest major sources. Weapons supplier to Iran.

    North Korea: I'm so ronery.

    -------------

Iranian leaders are not what we would care rational from the Western mindset. China and Russia are no dummies and have maneuvered Iran exactly to the point they are at today. Nobody wants the Iranians to have a nuclear toy and the Iranians are crazy enough to try to get one anyways. China has the capability to veto on the UNSC western resolutions against Iran leaving the only recourse to be non UNSC sanctioned action. China and Russia are smart enough to know that W will take whatever action he feels like to in order to stop Iran.

    The RM25 has a 2500km range

China and Russia will easily be able to use even the best case US intervention to further make us a pariah state (worst case is we get bogged down in Iran or weapons of mass destruction are employed). This is an intricate power play. There is no good way out of this one unless Israel deals with the issue for us (Russia/China still win) like they did in Iraq in 1982.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the sound you hear is the rattling of sabers. The rattling is getting very loud.

sometimes I look at the news and what's going on right now and I think to myself "good thing I dropped out of college and became a ski bum." I'd be really pissed if the world ended tomorrow and I'd spent the past five years of my life in a cubicle!

I would be too except for the fact that the last five years for my kid have rocked as a result of my cube sentence!

But yeah, this is some scary shit.

    I concur 100%. Talk about a setup.

Any independent verification on the Tu-160 strategic bombers (nuclear) penetrating US airspace? Putin recently announced some other radar-invisible tech lately for missiles, too, didn't he?

    edit:

They propose instead to "firmly stand today for resolving the problems in and around Tehran diplomatically rather than militarily. Increasing international pressure on Iran has no prospects,"

China's warning was also one of finding a peaceful solution. "A diplomatic solution is the correct choice and is in the interests of all parties," Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang told a regular news briefing. "China urges all parties to avoid measures that could worsen the situation."
Neither of these parties would ever reveal their true intentions. Both these countries are in the chess game of the oil - and they sure don't want the US to have it. Putin has expressed his desire to 'toast the coasts' of America to gain control of the midwestern breadbasket, according to a friend who spent a considerable amount of time in Russia's political upper echelon and reported directly to John Sununnu.

As for China, I'm sure they appreciate us financing our own demise.

I am not so worried. We have Subs sitting off evryones coast. We can basicly blow the shit out of anyone or anything we want. Let the rest of the world become outraged!! (Or Not) We need to stop spending every waking moment publicly grinding away at this stuff.

Yea I think they are gonna do something to someone. After the last 10 years we need the rest of the world to be the world police.

(This is my G rated commentary)

Putin's just making a power play to win concessions from the US. He's smart enough to realize nuclear vs. US= double loss. More than likely he'll try to bait us into something with Iran, we get schooled back, then they move in. China will want to keep things as-is, as they're currently on a rocket to the top of the heap. Putin's a manipulator, it's just a question of what he wants.

Now, why cant the rest of the fucking idiots in this country that voted for them figure that out?

On the other hand, I woul like to see some of those billion dollar firecrackers weve been building for the last 50 years actually pay off

If I was Amam(howeverthefuckyouspellhisname) I'd be playing the same game. Jack up oil prices, and win political support at home and abroad.

My fear is that Bush is crazed enough to consider a strike on Iran, causing a whole shitstorm of unknown consequences to come crashing down on us.

Also, the IAEA can't enforce shit. See Brazil and a host of other counties which continue to develop nuclear programs despite direct violations of the Non-proliferation Treaty.

lots of the usa next door in iraq, israel, afghanistan, etc. -but you're right. no usa on that map. but i think if iran has the intelligence to build a nuke, they also have the intelligence to get one here for detonation. also, it doesn't really matter where the nuke is headed, once it goes boom, many innocent people are dead (american or not) and the radiation will have a backlash of many unforeseeable things, some of those most definitely being able to effect us in the usa.

not to sound like "that american",
    but

do you have any idea ( of course you do) of the amount/ number of military power/ troops we have deployed in that region?

think about it for a second.

and the idea of another country having redicilous amount of nuclear warheads just puts them on a similar field as us ( which is a non-factor, considering the damage one nuke would do)

    and remember-

    in a nice singing voice
the American public does not know shit about shit when it comes to war games
    this includes you.

At the risk of sounding UnpatrioticWhy should it concern the US who else has nukes, we have them and have used them. I really could care less. I say we should give them some of ours. I think our government would be alot nicer to people in other parts of the world if everyone had the ability to nuke us. I am not even going to get into some of the things our government has done, what makes Irans government worse?
Listen, I had a problem that needed to be solved and I found a way around it. I'm not trying to sell these to anyone. I just wanted to share what I thought was a good idea and has opened some doors for me. It's also really good for impressing the ladies when you're at lunch. -Elguapo435

The Neo CONS want Irans oil. North Korea has nukes right? Why aren't they going after them? Oh yeah right, no oil.
Why arent they going after Saudi Arabia. Remember the "terrorists" from 9-11 they were all Saudis right?
They have loads of oil. Oh yeah right, the Bushes are in bed with them and they own too much of the stock market,so it's ok for them to be tyranical state.

What makes the USA think its so god damn right all the time? We live in a bubble in this country and it pisses me off how fucking ignorant and arrogant a lot of the public is to go along with this propaganda.

Bottom line, if other countries are allowed to use nuclear power why can't they (Iran)?
The Neo CONS will nuke Iran first, rather than visa versa,no dought.
Hey the Japs got nuked right?

...not to mention that whatever supposed legitimacy the US had as a signatory to the nuclear non-proliferation treaty re: Iran was pissed away when Bush went to India and granted their previously illegal nuke program his blessings...to say nothing of the fact that Iran, and its nutjob president has a valid reason to fear the US, being that its neighbor Iraq has been essentially laid waste.
the current world situation is a tragedy that's been many decades in the making - remember that the CIA helped orchestrate the coup against mossadeq that installed the shah...that later led to the islamic revolution, khomeni, the taking of the US embassy etc...bush included iran in his axis of evil when they had a reformist, west-leaning president in khatami...
now Iran is led by the kind of personality needed to "justify" another war as the current disaster in Iraq spirals out of control.
the inmates are truly running the asylum near and far...
