notebook, huh? i dont know what youre using that computer for but if i bought a notebook i'd buy one which i actually could carry instead of dragging around (17" widescreen, it must be quite hmm heavy..). nice specs though.

I don't get it...you got a job with the town (local???) govt and they front you the money to buy a notebook? And then they take it out of your check for the next year???

of course it depends.. if its your primary work machine and you'll be using it a lot, but not moving that much, then you probably appreciate the 17" screen

I plan on ordering a thinkpad t60p in a few weeks. Gonna go with the 14inch screen and buy a monitor later for home use. When the Turion X2's get released (~May 9th IIRC) its gonna drop duo prices.
