ACL Recovery & Restless Legs/Feet Issue

Hi all!! I'm having this issue since my surgery (4/4) & wondered if anyone has/had the same experience.....

The best way I can describe it is Restless Legs - but I also have this feeling in my foot.....it's an internal "crazy" feeling.....

Also having an issue with my hip - seems sleeping/sitting aggravates it - it's uncomfortable and becomes painful while sitting/sleeping. I also get a numb/pain feeling that radiates down my leg....

Anyone else with the same experience??

I really don't know much about RLS, but it sounded a lot like the comercial for the medication that treats it on TV.

That sounds pretty normal. Sooner or later after too much time on the sofa my hip starts to bother me and feels more annoying than my knee. And I always figured the restlessness was a cue from my body to keep doing calf pumps and quad sets and such to keep the blood flowing.
"Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming, "Wow, what a Ride!"

Well now that I'm off crutches & can move around more, I'm hoping this goes away.....cuz it's very irritating....

maybe it has something to do with your back, like sciatica- my husband sometimes gets pain around his hip that radiates down around the leg.
he has a few slipped discs from various injuies. it comes and goes. glucosamine and chondroitin helped after a while.
