    Checking in from the hospital

    You otta love having wireless internet acces from te hospital
    Well, the surgery was a success. They only removed a wedge from my lung, as opposed to the entire middle lobe. Bad news: it WAS melanoma, not a glob of Swix residue But the doctors say that they got it all, and that they are pretty confident about tings.

    Breathing is kind of difficult right now, but the hest tube is out. Got a ctheter up my dick, this would be great for long road trips They are feeding me lots of good drugs, but I'm still in a bit of pain. Last night, though, I rested thebest I hve since I broke my leg. Very tranquillo feeling, even though I didn't sleep much. Felt ggood just to rest up without the leg bothering me.

    Anyway, just wanted to check in with everyone. I think all of your positive vibes helped out, they say I'm doing absolutely wonderful as ar as recovery goes.

    I never thought a mesage board would be so important to me, but this place is a ver special corner of cyberspace.
