That is about it on the vaca, but it will still be good.

So you are trying boarding?? Looking good so far for sure. Glad you are wearing a helmet too, I have hit hard many times.

I like being able to do both, skiing and boarding. They both have their pluses and minuses.

it's my goal to be mediocre at both. i've recently acheived that goal in skiing so now... it's on to snowboarding mediocrity!

We shall see. I'm still relagated to the groomers, so it all depends on if you want to gape groomers all day with me. Once I have more days I will venture out into the goods as I did before. Gotta walk before you can run.

Plus I got to put up for a ticket and gear, . Doesnt hurt too bad at Beaver, but Basin and south are a different story.

Yes, I do want to ski Basin and get a little steeper vert, so you will see me there on skis sometime this season.

The ski boots help with the ankle stability. BUT, the muscles around the ankle and up the front of my shins are quite sore, just from using these muscles, which are not used while boarding.

Either way, ride or ski, Im still sore. ANd the ankle has not totally gone down from swelling.

Now for skiing not on the groomers, the ankle hurt like hell later in the day. I can solve this problem with a good chunk of money and spend it on custom boots. Time to throw all change and dollar bills into the cokie jar and maybe by summer I will have them.
