    Unhappy Experiencing a Weak Moment

Advance apologies for whining, but today sucks. Head aches, body sore, stuck at work, overwhelmed into inactivity, not skiing, and lately I wonder why I bother posting on this board and whether anybody out there really cares about the few things I have to say.

In short: I'm feeling blue and ignored.

    Woe is me.

Sick and ashamed and happy (and not always content to cruise below the radar),

No way, man. I LOVE reading your posts, Gin. But you're incognito, by nature and by name, so that's how it is! Everyone has blue days and everyone gets their nuts wailed on by life now and then. We's be here's for you!

    Positivity and love sent!

Well, the lovin' had an encouraging 2-nil (that ones for you, roo) lead, but looks like things are now settling to a healthy 50-50 split (I'll just assume that 5 others went the trainvain route (pronounce that as you like)).

Thanks folks. I guess I was just fishing for a little validity. Sometimes I admit to being human.

    When you're lost and alone,
    that's when the rainbow comes
    when you're lost and alone,
    that's when the rainbow comes
I believe that what you sing to the clouds will rain upon you
when you're sun has gone away.
And I believe that what you dream up to the moon
will manifest before you rest another day.

So stay strong, and sleep long when you need to,
let the morning take you right on through the day.
And when you find you're at the end of the road,
just lift your head up, spread your wings and fly away.

Gin, I got off my snowboard for the first time in 8 years and skied yesterday if that makes you any happier. And I loved it!!!

You gotta love that I loved being back on skis!! Hopefully I brought a smile to your face.

We all have em. Just takes time to get out of a rut.

Keep your chin up Gin. I, for one, think you are swell! We all have off days. Hope tomorow is better for you.

    -special ween lyrics for gincognito:

"Many colors in the homo rainbow
Don't be afraid to let your colors shine
Many colors in the homo rainbow
Show me yours. I'm gonna show you mine

If you find a pot of gold
Every little thing is gonna work out fine
    In the homo rainbow

Many colors in the homo rainbow
You give me shade from black to yellow
Many colors in the homo rainbow
    A warm embrace and a kind-a hello

If you find a pot of gold
Every little thing is gonna work out fine
    In the homo rainbow

If you find a pot of gold
Every little thing is gonna work out fine
    In the homo rainbow
Every single color, every walk of life
In & out changin, every day and night
From the golden shores of Kansas, to the middle of Japan
reach inside your soul and learn your fellow

There are many colors in the homo rainbow
Don't be afraid to let your colors shine
Don't be ashamed of what God made you"

and on top of that you are a god damn superstar, plus a good writer. i am a poor writer, constantly relying on off color lyrics and poor spelling to get through my posts, and a superdork..... so you got two up on me dog.

    I'm with you, mang

I'm feeling that way, too; so I guess I'm sending the love of "misery loves company."

My job sucks lately. My options seem limited. I haven't worked out in too long and feel like a mushy mess. My skiing is not where I'd like it to be. I can't get my friends motivated to play beacon hide-n-seek. I'm bored with all my ski movies and my Netflix selections are crap. The girls I like don't like me and girls I don't like are haunting me in a bad way. The efforts to turn around my current losing streak have been met with failure and ridicule. Optimism is low.

I hate it when I feel like all I can do is wait out the storm. I'm even sick of drinking beer.

So what you are saying is that you are a normal guy? I am afraid that this hardly ever gets better.

    (on second thought)

    Chase those dreams!

Kudos and warm vibes toward gin.

I don't really want to bump this, but...

Thanks dudes. Just the right amount of sarcasm, sympathy, acknowledgement, and utter cheese that I needed.

    All is good.

Of course, it is snowing outside my office window, so maybe that has more to do with it...

Sick and ashamed and happy (and re-routing all vibes to Big E),
