    Free: Old-school Dynafit bindings

Cleaning out some old shit - I've got a set of Dynafits that are about 12 years old, used not more than 30 times. They look more like they've got 1 day on them. They've got a DIN range of 5-10 and have lots of plastic. They were never hucked with (mainly because the single-buckle Dynafit boots sucked ass). These might be good for someone's girlfriend/wife, or someone who doesn't want to huck, or someone who just wants to try out Dynafit cheaply. I haven't used them for 10 years, hence the dust in some of the pictures. No brakes, but a steezy safety leash comes with, so if you fall and they come off the skis can swing around and hit you in the head. No idea if they're compatible with new Dynafit brakes if you wanted to fit them.

What do I want in return? I'd be pretty damn happy if you were willing to act as a shipping address for me for a one-off transaction in the future. E.g. if 916s ever come up again on SAC I could maybe get them shipped to you then you ship them to me (I'm in Oz) via parcel post (me pay shipping - SAC only ships with a courier to Oz and it costs big $$ for heavy items - much more than parcel post). For this to happen I'd have to have your address and you be willing for me to get them shipped to you with no notice (i.e. at midnight SAC time I wouldn't have time to PM asking if it was alright to get something shipped or else I might miss out). I'd pay all costs - you'd only be acting as a reshipper. This might not even ever happen. I don't really need any gear, but there've been times in the past I wished I'd had a reshipper.

I'll pay shipping on these bindings to the USA. It won't cost more than $20. It'd be cool if you were willing to deduct that from the reshipping for whatever I want later, but it's not a deal-breaker. I won't ship for about a week, I have to get a #3 posidrive to demount them first and I have to mail-order it (they're pretty hard to find in Oz). Air mail should take maybe a couple of weeks at most.

If you want the bindings, please reply to this thread with your dibs. I don't want a flood of PMs, but I'll update the thread and go into PMs with the first dibber. <edit>No offence, but no JONGs please (like me ). I'd rather maggots got these. It's my decision - if I don't feel good about it, I'll let you know. E.g. if you've only got a handful of posts, your chances are slim.</edit>

Finally, what you've been waiting for, the pics.

    Dibs?

Don't know if I meet your JONG crit but I've been here since the Powmag switch and about 2-3 years there. I tend not to post alot but the boards are pretty much my main internet vice. Let me know...

Well, I guess this puts me into a distant 3rd place, and I haven't been posting much at all lately, but in my (weak?) defense that's mainly because we've been busy moving to a new house . . . in which we intend to live for, say, a few decades, so if you want stability in your U.S. shipping address, I can definitely offer that.

    And fourth place goes too...

Uhmm, I don't think I'd be much help as a reshipper, since I think SAC wants to ship to Canada via courier too, but I would be happy to pay you shipping and a sixer for these...

And I guess I'm pretty JONGy but I did just post my first TR, and I intend to keep doing so...

Right about now I have a feelin' that I'm not gonna get these. Looks like LeeLau is in the lead as to qualifications.

edit: BTW - you should be able to get away with using a Phillips screw driver as long as you are careful. Grinding the tip off a little bit can help - could save you the cost of a screw driver and shipping...

Guess I'm late but, where in Australia are you? Maybe I can get family to pick them up and save you shipping I'm in the US so any SAC or other gear arrangement would be fine.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they're mechanically very similar. They're mint condish (apart from the dust). The only thing that sucks is (as you can see) I forgot to ever wind down the DIN springs.

    Now to the winner.

Sorry Pig, but I don't really know you. I'm sure you're a habitual lurker like me, but I'm gunna let LeeLau take this one. 2 main reasons:

    (i) he shares as much stoke as anyone on this board.
(ii) I like how he acts as a tour guide/mentor to anyone in his backyard.

LeeLau, jump to the front of the queue. I should've done this last week when I ordered a bunch of Taiga stuff and spent a small fortune in shipping . I expect to see these featured in a TR in the near future. I'll probably never take you up on the SAC offer because your B.C. GST/PST pisses me off. Only thing I might be interested in is if you happen by an Arcteryx factory outlet and they have a SAC-style sale on Sidewinder SV jackets or if I ever want more Taiga or MEC stuff. PM on its way.

Also PM sent. I have a US drop ship address that can use.

Nice score LL! I would have sent a #3 screwdriver and a pound of AK smoked salmon to Oz.

These could not go to a better guy, Lee has provided sooooo much WB stoke. He showed a ton of maggots around during the summit and was one of the few to step up and organize a few things for the event. The dude is amped energy when on skis.
