Finals Procrastination Thread

The amount of time I spend on TGR is directly related to how much shit is due.

It increases exponentially the closer the deadlines get.

My time is spent browsing ALL subforums here at TGR, checking the weather, browsing the bikemag and mtbr forums, shop for bike parts, browse for cheap spring deals on ski stuff on ebay, drool over igneousskis.com and dpskis.com, check my email. By this time there's usually something fresh here at TGR, and, well, I might as well just check it out real quicklike before I get back to my end of term projects -- and the cycle starts over. Frankly, it's wearing me out.

This will all end in a nail-biting climax where I zone in at 3 am the day everything is due and whip out something I'll try to pass off as upper mediocrity.

Fortunately I have no finals, but the paper that determines whether or not I graduate is due on tuesday. I've not even thought about it yet.

This pretty much describes my day as well, except while I'm at work.

I also have a final tomorrow afternoon, but I have job interviews today at 4 and tomorrow at 8:15. Fuck it, who needs to study anyways.

For the record, your professors do the same thing (or at least the grad students posing as adjuncts).

I spent the bulk of this week, two weeks in advance of a TON of shit of my own being due as well as the end of my own course: rereading TRs, shopping for a road bike, searching for XS MTBs, geeking out on Tux weather, watching YouTube vids... pretty much anything but getting my work done.

same here, 2 weeks away from a master's degree, and instead of studying for finals or completing a fucking programming assignment I'm reading tgr, and and am about to start drinkin for the U concert tonight. fuck me.
