    Attention Buttheads

    Wait, that's everybody here.

    I mean, Attention Cigarette Smokers:

I have been smoking cigarettes for longer than the majority of you have been alive. Although I still love them, I also fucking hate them and on this coming Monday, April 24, I'm going to quit.

Another Maggot, who can name himself if he wants, is going to join me. We'd like to encourage anybody else who has been thinking about it to join us and maybe we can lend each other some moral support and maybe some peer pressure.

Anybody who wants to give it a shot is more than welcome to join us. I'll be starting a thread in "Gimp Central" about it in a bit, c'mon over there and post up, it's way past time to put them nasty fucking things away.

It's like five days away, smoke 'em up this weekend, get you some Wellbutrin or SmokeAway or Sunflower seeds or whatever, and let's get this done.

Tipp swears that with this SmokeAway shit I'll be good to go by the weekend, so it's his fault if it doesn't work out.

Way to go ice. I've seen the regret in a man's eyes as he laid dying from lung cancer, one of the saddest sights in my entire life.

    April 24th is my birthday.

I guess it will be a new birthday for you as well, in a sense. As I mentioned to you in chat, and I extend this to all quitting maggots - I quit chewing on New Year's Day and haven't picked the shit up since. It was hard, but having been through it and continuing to go through it, I will always be willing to share support. Any questions you have, or just want to vent off frustrations of a craving, feel free to PM me, etc.

Congrats. You will not regret this.

I haven't had a smoke in over six months, you'll be fine.

72twenty, the 24th is my dads birthday as well. I have to go home for a suprise party on Sunday, hopefully he doesn't have an infarction.

    Alright fine.
    I'll join the party.
Been smoking pretty heavily for 10 years now.
I was smoking 2 packs a day of Marlboro reds and managed to cut down to 1 pack a day of Parliaments.
A much lghter cigarette so, I'm headed in the right direction.
The 24th is the week I'm getting in my car and moving out west.
A new chapter in my life that could possibly be smoke free.

    So, I'm in.

i smoked camel filters for 16 yrs. love/hate.

quit before my first daughter was born, almost 4 years without
    smokes and i feel amazing.
honestly in the first 6 months i felt like i had more energy.
you do not realize how bad they make you feel until you are off of them for some time.
eventually your olfactory senses will crank back up.
cigs really smell like shit. you dont even realize that until you quit smoking.
    cigs are not cheap.
large amounts of sativa helped me quit smoking camels.
thats not cheap either but thats life.

    good luck.
if its got tits or wheels...it will give you trouble..

Heh, that didn't take long to figure out. I wish that was all it was, though. I think my wife has secretly joined the Taliban. If I come home and find her in a Burqa I'm getting the fuck out of here.

best wishes to all of you quitters, its tough and if you realize that while you are in the act of quitting, it will provide you extra will power.

smoked for 8 or 9 years, tried to quit many times, woke up one day and decided it was time. Been quit for 5 years? lost track somehow, doesn't matter, just the fact that i don't quit. Now that we had my son, my wife has quit as well.

Congrats dude, I quit cold puffing a year ago this May, the best way to beat cravings is to either shower or run.

So if you're a little more angry in your posts we'll know the reason. Good luck on quitting.
