Their offense is amazing... but their starters aren't going to hold up in the long run. I do think they can win the NL East, but it'll be a good race.

65 games in. we just swept the second place team in their own park - we just swept the NL West fist place team in their own park, and we took 2 out of 3 from the dodgers at dodger stadium (historically, the mets have been better at home).

Second place in the NL East is 9.5 games behind the mets, and, THE BRAVES ARE 12½ GAMES BEHIND THE METS! weeee... i hate the braves..

at .646, still the best record in baseball. 65 games in, it's lasting. This may be the real thing..

the mets do have an awesome lineup this year. unfortunately for you, they play in the NL and get no respect for having the best mlb record. i just checked the records for teams in teh nl east and they are absolutely terrible. the mets are the only team above 500. no wonder theyre in first.

Even being a Yankee fan, I'll never rip Pedro. He's the most entertaining guy to watch pitch in baseball, and I'd love to have him on my team any day. He's absolutely sick...
