I haven't postede too much lately so thought I would update you with a few photos of the past couple months in St Anton. The skiing has been a mixed bag with plenty of above average days matched by well below average days with rain.
I'll start you off with a couple powder shots from Stueben at the beginning of March. I think these have been posted in the snow for the euros thread already.
That's my girl taking it deep:
Unfortunately my brother likes taking it deep as well:
Unfortunately there is a gap in my photos through most of March because I was too lazy to bring my camera along. Rest assured some good turns were had.
Some photos from a cheeky tour up Hokar a few weeks ago.
Near the summit of Hokar:
Arno skiing some nice mellow pow:
Looking back up the bowl. This is about half of the run. Not too bad for less then an hour of skinning:
Here are a couple photos from Schindler last weekend
Willie G leaving the office and using his airplane style on Schindler:
Lloydo:
This year we tried to go on another hut to hut touring/climbing trip. The first plan was to go to the Ortler Range in Sud Tirol, but bad weather put a hold on that so we returned to Silvretta.
It snowed about 60cm with high winds the first two days we were there so we pulled the parachute on the trip after two days.
Think they're trying ot get a point across?
Touring above the Jamtal Hutte:
Marko making turns on the only run we had before the weather got really nasty:
And finally here's a a weather phenomenon which occurs over Galzig on St Anton known as Maien Nebel (May Fog):
