To see the humor in this you need to know what World of Warcraft is. I don't play it personally, but half the nerds I work with do, so I hear about it. I gather it's sort of like if you made Lord of the Rings an online video game. It's a vast world you enter via the internet and play with/against people all over the world. You form "guilds" with other, and protect each other and work towards common goals. There's all sorts of beasts and elves and that kinda shit. Kinda like VR Dungeons and Dragons I think. And people take it REAL serously. It's addictive, I think because it's a good game and when you are logged off you're missing stuff that's going on. To read more, go here

Now, to the funny shit. So this player, some woman, died in real life. (That's not funny). Her Guild decided to have an "in game" funeral for her. They put her corpse by a lake and lined up to slowly shuffle through a line to view her body. Touching, right? So, this opposing guild found out and devised a plot to descend upon the funeral goers in an ambush and slaughter them. As you can imagine, this pissed some people off and created quite a stir in the web forum WoW community. Well, somebody made a movie of the whole thing and you can watch it here:

*Note: The movie starts with some screen shots of text. Wait for the actual movie of the attack to start about half way through.
