    Recommend a good saddle

I am looking for a good durable and comfortable saddle. I have had good experience with WTBs, but now there are so many, I don't know which one to choose.

I will be doing primarily trail riding, so I need something that will be good for all day rides. I am definitely not a weight weenie.

    wtb rocket

don't change from what works. the rocket is most similar to the ssx of old. or find a NOS ssx on ebay or something. those saddles ruled.

X2. I have SST (not SSX) on each mountain bike I have. Kevlar corners = long-lasting saddle. Should still be available for cheap from places like Nashbar.

Some people hated the SST saddle (firm, not particularly forgiving). It either works for you or it doesn't.

If you decide not to go with a WTB the fizik gobi is comfy in my opinion.

    WTB Rocket V Race

kind of on the expensive side for a bike seat but it's comfy and light. I have an older Power V on my DH bike. That seat is comfy and pretty heavy but it's taken a ton of abuse and held up really well.

I've had good luck with WTB Speed V Comps (although I have bent one). You can pick them up for about $20 and they're comfortable for me.

edit - doh! I should start to try to finish what I start typing in a timely manner...
