    Front Range Dirt Jump Thread

I love this time of year. Still skiing to be had on the weekends and game on for riding durring the week. Post up here if your heading out to jump some dirt. I find riding with different people really helps my style and confidence.

    Where:

Gunbarrel - major convenience factor for me (I live next to the jump spot)
The Fix - also very conveneint for me.
Arbor - impressive and extensive lines, dont get there enough.
    Sunset/The V - never been
    other?

    When:
    Evenings.

    Who?
    Art your leg healed enough?
    funken?
    MTBSC?
    flowtron?
    Z on the new ride?
fondigley will be there rocking his new 24"
Anyone who wants to jump or learn to jump should come out. with the exception of the V all the places I have listed have good learning oppurtunities.

Anyways I try and get out almost everyday to gunbarrel but should be mixing it up.

If I don't have a meeting after work I'll be there tomorrow... if not, Thursday. I can get to Boulder, but Arbor is even easier. I'm not sure riding with me will help your style or confidence.

I should still be off the bike, but I could do some photoging. We can usually get a good group of riders from school to head out to arbor. Maybe this thurs?

The V had a bunch of progressive lines that made me step it up, but haven't been there or Arbor in a couple years. I really need to get to those spots. But the daily routine will be Gunbarrel after work, possibly the Fix once I find my comfort level.

It's worth mentioning that I have an extra BMX sitting in the garage for folks without a bike. So really anyone interested should come out.

With traffic, that would double my time to Boulder. I'd be driving Opposite and Adjacent instead of the Hypotenuse for you CSM types. I'll probably try to get there around 5:30.

    Colorado front range peeeeple.

I throw myself upon your mercy. I'm coming into town the first week of may and must feed this dirtjumping habit I've acquired. I will be your bitch. I will clean your toe nails. I will reshape you lips and sweep your sand. I'll be working till 4-5 ish on weekdays and would like to see some of the spots I know about.....lake arbor, the fix etc...

    I do this.

But more importantly I also do this

Make me your slave and give me a tour won't you?

I promise to fill you with beer.

Another nice session was had this afternoon up at Gunbarrel. My day started with an xc ride with some good ol folks fromn Dub-V who happen to be passing through, then I headed out to the dirt jumps for some sweet air. When I got back from my xc ride, Hev informed me that Art and some folks were on there way to our hood. Always good to have a possee.

I stepped up to a couple jumps I hadn't gone for in a while. Makes you feel good when you shoot straight up in the air. Can't wait for another session. Hopefully we will get some pics up soon.

Oh boy. You wanna see some carnage?

I would be down to learn. Never hit a dirt jump in my life. But now I got a sweeeeet new rig that can take the abuse. Trail/freeride oriented hardtail will do the job right? Are there some easy features that someone could learn on?
