Depends on your eyes. Mine are sensitive to light, there's no lens that would work in all conditions. I use the silver mirror for bright conditions, sensor for overcast storm (too much transmission for bright sunny days)

    Seconded.

Sensor mirror for low light. I had the silver and liked it for sunny days but had to replace these from too many scratches and now have the motocross looking yellow/red lenses for sunny days and I think I like these even more than the silver but they are only good on bright days. Clear lenses for night skiing.

If you can only have one lens, maybe the silver, maybe sensor mirror if the brightness doesn't bother you.

    Oh,

and google is an internet search engine, goggles are for skiing....

I think the Sensor Mirror is a really good flat light lens. However, it sucks in bright sunlight. It almost amplifies the intensity of the light. I don't have very sensitive eyes and can wear most flight light lenses on any day. This is one lens I can't. I've heard the same of the Oakley Hi-blues too. When I bought my Fuses, they came with both a Sensor Mirror and an RC-45. Which is rad because the RC-45 is a top notch all around lens. So I can swap the SM and the RC depending on the day.

I do alright with HI blue/sensor when it goes bluebird. Not optimal, but tolerable. They kick ass when it's grey. They do kinda suck if it's raining/sleeting. The water drops look like purple neon globules. Like you murdered Barney or something.

If I had only one lens it would be a persimmon-ish lense. Works in low and sunny light.

i have the red mirror lenses. (same as RC-45?) definitely don't do well in flat light, but they own in sunlight. Plus they look great in pictures, if you're vain like I am. I think the combo of that and the sensor mirror would be $$$.
