Long story short I hit a stump back in February at Copper. Ended up at St. Anthony's with a fractured rib, sever concussion, blood clots, contusions, and a torn aorta. They put me in emergency surgery and cut my sternum from top to bottom.
They told me 3 months till it fuses completely, but its been 2 and mine feels very close to being healed
Anybody else break or have your sternum cut open, and how long did yours take to heal?

basin closes june 5th...if you don't mind skiing with too-wide brakes i'll remount those GS boards for a few late-season romps
