jongish question......what is the hike to get to the chutes and how long roughly does it take? and which ones did they open...
This is the snow report from Alta at noon on Friday, January 9th.
Its fun in Alta, today skiers. Great early season snowfall, beautiful weather and quite possibly, a bonus! Alta Ski Patrol is on the Chutes of MT. Baldy, checking on conditions. At this point, they are estimating a limited opening early this afternoon. If you go, you need to know exactly where you're going. If not, find out before you go.

Everything was open except perlas--when they bombed it, altachic and I saw the gi-huge-ic slide, went halfway down ballroom.
