FS: Atomics, 4Frnts MSP's, and Armada JP Vs. Julien

I'm interested in selling some skis in my quiver.

    1) Brand New Armada Jp vs. Julien Skis. 188CM. NEVER MOUNTED. Will come with fresh wax. Sick big boards for powder days. 126-103-116

    2) 4Frnt MSP 180's. 122-92-108. These are used and are definately in used condition. They are a great all mountain ski that are a lot of fun with mostly anything. Here's the deal, they are currently mounted with Salomon S912 TI DEMO bindings. I am interested in selling them with or without the bindings. Will sell the bindings for $50.

    3) Atomic Metron M11's. W/Neox Binding. 162CM. Bought at the end of last season and skied on for about a month in the east. THEN I moved to Utah... Since I'm mainly into Big mountain, I don't have much use for them except for the few times of the year I'm on groomers, which I can't afford them for that little bit. Can take pictures if interested.

    4) Armada ANT's. 191. Brand new, unmounted. Asking $400.

For now I'm looking at any offers. E-mail me at cjc0115@westminstercollege.edu. I am a student at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, UT.

    Thanks!

No,no,no,no the 4frnt's are for resort use, as he's only spancered by Armada in the BC.

Update: I believe I'm going to keep the Jp Vs. Juliens.

Sorry, but I'm going to mount them today, they'd be a sick ski for me on those deep days at the 'bird. . Any advice on where to mount? I was torn between keeping the ANT's or the JP's, but since I'm only like 145lbs and 5'11, I think the ANT's may be a little overkill. I charge, but still... thoughts?

ANT's are still up for grabs, I'm not in a hurry to sell though, I'll wait till fall if I have to.

As for the Metron's and the MSP's. I'm getting offers but nothing near where I was hoping. It's end of season, I'm thinknig I'll be better off trying to unload them in the Fall. This is the time to aquire gear, not sell it unless you are really in need of cash; just my observation. I'm actually starting to think I'll mount the 4Frnt's with touring bindings. What do you guys think?

I don't mean to let anyone down if they had their hopes up, just selling doesn't seem to be working out for me right now. ??

    Thanks,
    Charlie

haha. I tried that. I was body-building for almost a year. I was on a super high protein/carb diet, eating ridiculous amounts of food everyday. Once I started college, it got harder and harder to keep up. I gave up altogether and lost like 15 pounds in no time at all. . I'll probably get back into it over the summer, but ski season is when you use your muscles, not try to make them bigger. lol

Why do you say that? I just got back from mounting up the JP's. Both guys at the shop aggreed that the JP's will be a better ski for me out here for Utah Powder days. I also have 4FRNT MSP's and may be getting some Sugar Daddy's.

    Where'd you mount the JPs?

I found the $$ spot to be -2 from the factory line.

And pleeeez tell me you had them measure from the tail to make sure both mounts were in the same spot as Armada factory lines have been known to be off from one another...

    Ebay

You might want to take down your ebay auction if your not selling the jp's. Either that or someones stealing your pics.

I just think that the ANTs will do everything that the VS's do just as well, but be much more stable at speed and much more versatile on days that arent fresh blower.

Does it seem to anyone else that over the course of this season alot more people around here have strayed from the softer sticks to more burl in both everyday as well as pow situations??

I'm sure Armada was surprised in ths surge of ANT sales as soon as they caught on 'round these parts...

Sure, I went from noodles to steel, and honestly, its been the best thing that has ever happened to my skiing. I'm stronger, I have better form, I'm more confident, and I ski faster than ever before It also allows me to only have one pair of sticks and be able to ski almost anything on them.

haha, you guys are starting to give me second guesses about the JP's. I'm skiing them tomorrow so we'll see. These skis are intended to be my deep powder day skis, I'm planning on stiffer skis for all-mountain charging... These should float better and the ANT's are much heavier. I do like to straight line though, I hope the JP's suffice.

As far as mounting, I really told the tech what I wanted, that I didn't want to be too far forward hence having the tips dive. Told him how people (TGR forums...) said to mount further back than the line. Showed me where JP has his mounted which is pretty much dead center. I even told him how I feel my MSP's which are at the "freeride" line still feel too far forward... He strongly recommended the furthest back factory line. He insisted. I'm a little leary, but I went with it. They look alright though, definately noticable more tip than tail... ???

OOOOPS! DIDN'T GET TO THAT SOON ENOUGH! THEY SOLD I'm offering the ANT's instead, or else I'll simply refund his money.
