quite a bit at Alta to re-learn how to ski. Alta's a great place to learn to ski - lots of long greens and blues.

Finally got the hang of riding on two planks after 6 years on one. Man, shaped skis make it so much more fun than it used to be on straight skis. I can finally get that deep carve sensation on skis that drew me into snowboarding in the first place. So now I get out the board on pow days for the floatation and carve it up on skis on the groomer days. Fun combo.

Lowest year since the 80's, methinks. I skied ZERO new areas! I hang my head in shame.
I can safely say '03-04 will be the zenith of my ski life (for new areas). I'm certain I'll never again ski 30 ski areas in a season; over 20 in one month. Kinda sad, but kinda inevitable. The circumstances that came together cannot happen again. Bittersweet.

Mostly short days -- few hours here and there. Full-time school, full-time job, and newly minted full-time dad all sort of got in the way. The hill just down the road was all I could afford, in terms of both time and money. All in all I'm pretty impressed with it, though.

Sitting on 50 days. I may still hit 70. I basically didn't start skiing this season until Jan. I think I've only had 5 days that weren't pow days and two of them weren't at my home hill.

Will be hitting Timberline several times this summer after Whistler closes.

And today I found out Delta Airlines is now flying from Bellingham to Salt Lake City!! In my dreams I'll be hitting up LCC on weekends.
