Both. Just got back from KW, and will probably be up again on Thursday. It changes every week depending on work schedules.

Great weekend . . . spent Saturday on Tallac for some epic windbuff and hardpack (nothin' like a big hike for shitty conditions - I felt like I was in Argentina again!). It was a cool day though and there's some pretty cool stuff up there, not to mention a great view and a beautiful day! Hot though - when did spring get here?!? Winter, come back!!!!!!!!!!!

Good day at KW today - not the powder heaven of last weekend, but certainly worthy and a day with lots of good laughs! My stomach better be sore tomorrow :-) Skied a bunch off the wall, one run off Thunder Saddle, a few out in the Palisades, and whatever happened to creep up in between. It's just great to be skiing, whatever the mountain happens to provide. This weekends only stuff is bullshit!!! I need to start investigating early retirement :-)

Clack, were you up there today . . . I got your message, but I don't have your phone number written down so I couldn't call you back! One of these days I will get responsible . . . lord knows when that will be, however!

For those of you who did bc routes, I'd love a report!!!

was also up on tallac on saturday. great day but only wind buffed hardpack everywhere. what line did ya ski and when did ya summit??? on our 1st run off kalimea (sp?) ridge we nearly had an incident. the 3rd person traveling in our party set off a cornice failure and was nearly taken for a ride. i guess it's really true to stay farther back from corniced ridges then what you think is ok. 2nd run down the right arm of the cross (cheater entrance) and found more of the same w/ some dreaded crust below about 8,000'. the next morning went up for a quikie on waterhouse and found that the goods are still there for the taking. decent medium density powder buff in the gully bowl and soft boot deep pow in the trees around the skintrack.
