Toying with the idea myself - I could use a break to play in the snow rather than clean up the mess it leaves behind.

This cold spell and snow has simply wreaked havoc on the horses/barn. We've got no power, no water and the fields are too frozen to turn them out. Nothing like a bunch of stir crazy 1200lb. animals to add a little excitement to your life.

I'll match your horses and raise you 1 2 year 6 month old boy and 1 4 month old daughter. We still don't have power. Sponge baths suck.

But, the crews are out and promising power by noon. If that's the case and I can sooth my poor addled wifes nerves, I'll be up there.

Any chance youse kooks can make it in the liftline before 8:00?

Oh yeah: Stoopid tall grey toque, black goggles, weedy goatee, likely red Cloudveil jacket (green&grey Marmot if raining), black pants (XXXXL w/chinstrap), black raichle and likely older Stockli Silver and yellow Asteroids.

I will try, but despite my best intentions, I always seem to end up there around 8:15 or so. I will set my alarm a bit earlier.

    New snow in Green Valley!
Heavy powder, break out the fat skis or snowboard.

    "heavy powder?" - contradiction?

Yeah, I couldn't pass on the deep morning. That more or less ixnayed my evening. Sorry. I'm for sure for qualifying, of course!

I'm in Whistler this weekend. Hopefully the freezing level will screw us less up there.
