For those of us in North America, at some point this afternoon, it will be 1:02pm and 3 seconds, making it 01:02:03 04/05/06. It's just a cool thing.

Yurp peons will be able to enjoy the same coincidence in 29 days, on 4 May, due to their more logical method of abbreviating the date.

There was a date when I was in 3rd grade which all the numbers lined up from 1 through 9 1:23:45 6/7/89 and it won't happen again til 2089.

Not really. 24 hr time is no more "technically" correct. Not everyone uses it. If you want to push the cause then it was at 010203 zulu time which is the standard TGR uses. Fun, but pointless.
