The guy that we deal with is Joel. Good weekend, overall, but there are some interesting characters on that island off season. It's good to be home.
Sorry, no Turkey Terrific this time. But we did have an outstanding breakfast at the Fog Island or something like that - across the street from the police station.People shooting ski areas should be sued.

Some of those scary looking locals are my friends. I am pretty sure they woulda been there, since there is nothing else going on. The Box is a fun venue, but I have never noticed a change in the people in there. Winter or summer, they are all a bit crazy.
I like living where the Ogdens are high enough so that I'm not everyone's worst problem.- YetiMan

"Captin Seaweed" use to run the Box, not sure anymore. I had some of the wildest nights of my young adult life at that place! Saw Blues Traveler, the Samples, DMB, and many others there over those 4 summers. Lived on the island every summer in college, drove a cab and drank a lot.
I went back w/the GF 2 summers ago, and man did I feel old when I walked in there (and immeaditly had some drunk 20 yr old girl spill her beer on me).

Fog Island Cafe isn't bad...
When did you drive a cab there, Freshies? It was Seaweed I was thinking of. Pretty sure DMB played the Muse, though--that's the only place on the Island I remember seeing them.
And yes, the Box can be very different in the summer. But that goes for everywhere on that rock.[quote][//quote]
