Currently have a Fuel 100 and then this hardtail which subsequently doesn't see any use. Looking to sell this bike, the only problem is that I'm in College in California right now and the bike is in Boulder. I was going to take the frame and rebuild it for my Dad, but I'm going to be gone all summer and he says he'll just steal my bike. So just putting it out to see if anyone is interested. I might be able to get my mom to show it to an interested buyer but she probably wouldn't ship. Also I will be home in early May (or perhaps Easter) where it will either be sold locally or heaven forbid on Egay. Anyways here's the bike setup, don't know the specifics on the stem/cranks, but the bike is stock as is came in 2000 except for the stem and the rear derailleur (it 's barely ridden and still has it's stock tires with lots of tread left)
Trek 7000
-XT/LX 9sp. Build (although most is LX now)
-Judy XC 80mm of travel
-Icon durante or something of a similar name cranks
-Icon clipless (I might keep these unless the owner wants them)
-Bontrager stem 100mm
-Bontrager Superstock wheelset w/Bontrager Jones tires
-Lx shifters
-Avid 1.0 Brakes and levers
-LX rear derailleur (not currently on the bike, but was new last season and has about 100miles or so)
-LX cassette
-Bontrager race saddle
-some kind of Trek sourced flat bar
It's a 17.5" frame (or thereabouts, not completly sure on Trek sizing then). Basic scratches from some heavy riding. Currently the rear der. isn't on as the Chain broke of the old XT. I'll buy a new chain and put it on before it goes out, as well as mount up the LX rear I have for it. I have all the paperwork with the warrenty card, and I think the recipet somewhere in that (I think I paid a grand for it at Wheatridge Cyclery). Will come with the Specialized bar ends and a CatEye Mity 3 (whose wire is toast I beleive so not really operational). Anyways obviously not near it right now or anything but just putting it out there. When I get it the drivetrail all put togeather I'm hoping to get $450ish for it, Would let it go for $400 as it is right now.
