    Sanouk delamination

Look what happend to my Sanouk this weekend. The topsheet cam off on the rear inside of both my skis while skinning! The skis are 04/05 but almost brand new, used one time before.

Well, if you've bought them from a local shop you've got a pretty good chance of making a warranty swap for the newer model. This has got to be the "safest" warranty claim case I've ever seen on Sanouks (and I've seen some..).

If on the other hand you've bought them from some austrian internet dealer you've got som time on the ppone and email to look forward to...

the inner edge of the ski cought the topsheet at the tail of the other ski. But very little and this happens all the time when skinning. No problem on my other skis. The first ski lokked like this after aprx one minute of skinning on comletely flat terrain. I use Black Diamond sts skins, but I think thats ok.

Oh, that's just the protective plastic cover they put on top to protect the ski during shipping, like they use on lcd screens, etc. You can peel it off, throw it away, and keep skiing...

I noticed that the tails of my Sanooks where starting to do this mid season. It is casued by the abscense of a tail block in the ski. I applied plenty of epoxy to mine and rivited each tail prong, and havent had any issues.
