    Quick help on bindings!

Ok, no time for techtalk, I have to buy bindings tonight in order for them to arrive in time and I have to sleep in 30 minutes to get 4 hours tonight. Ok, you don't care, but here goes.

On this http://www.sportsliquidator.com/item...&man=ROSSIGNOL 2004 page, there are two bindings. Both by Rossi... they are:

    ROSSIGNOL 2004
    AXIAL FREE 140 T-PLATE
    for $199

    and

    ROSSIGNOL 2004
    POWER 140 T-PLATE S
    for $269

What is the difference? I need the wide brakes, but I can find those for a helluva lot less than $70 elsewhere.

I'm not a Rossi man, but they are the same as Looks, so you can't go wrong. The t-plate is a plate you mount the bindings on, I believe. The only difference will be between the Axial and the Power.

    Power: http://www.backcountrystore.com/store/ROS0026.html

    Axial: http://www.skimag.com/skimag/gear/ar...327151,00.html

Sorry about the ski mag link... that's what came up after a quick search.

I think you'd be fine with either, personally, although the Power looks cooler. The Power "employs Axial technology," apparently.

I'd go with the Power. As i said though, I'm not familiar with Rossis.

Ok, there are also a set of 2003 Look P14 binders with the maxplate for even cheaper ($169, http://www.sportsliquidator.com/main.html if you want to get in on this). Are those as good as the T-Plate S?

When I bought my Rossi Axail free140 w/ t-plate 2 years ago it came with regular AND wide brakes.
If you have a problem & think that someone else is going to solve it for you then you have two problems.
