    Which Intuitions for Mega Rides

Which Intuition Liners should I put in my Garmont Mega Rides. I want to stiffen up the boots but not totally ruin them for touring. I have done searches but only found suggestions to use the Intuitions. I haven't found anything about which model of Intuition to use. I have talked to local shops but I got a buch of conflicting stories.

Definitely get the tallest/most substantial Intuition liners out there. (I believe it is the "Alpine Custom" model.)

This topic is a popular one. You can find a recent thread on beefing up the Garmont Adrenalines.

It's not the Mega Ride, but all the same advice applies.

I wrote in the other thread that I use booster straps, a Raichle tongue, Intuition liner, and custom footbeds in my Mega Rides for everyday use (inbounds, out the gates + touring), and it's fine for all 3.

The Alpine Custom is a bit stiffer than the stock Garmont liners. The Alpine Custom Power Wrap is the liner if you want to stiffen up the boots. A Nordica Direct Driver plate or Salomon Driver Plate helps stiffen and add height/leverage to those boots.

I concur, the Intuition Alpine Power Wrap is what you want.
It's heartbreaking to see a chick who's too anorexic.

My main rotation is Explosivs (w/ Dynafits), Seth Vicious (also Dynafits), Gotamas (Freerides), and Spatulas (Freerides).

I need to get a skinny ski back in the rotation for some screwing around inbounds on hardpack days, but it hasn't been a priority.

That's it -- that's the one I use. Thanks for the correction on the exact name. This liner is fantastic -- worked very well in my Denalis, too.

Thanks for the help. Did you guys notice any difference in touring between the stock Garmont liner and the Intuition Power Wrap? These boots will never be used in bounds. I'm not willing to lose any of the touring performance. I just figured that if I could stiffen them up without hurting the touring abilities it was a no brainer.

I've toured for years in the Intuition liners in Mega Rides, Denalis & TLT4Pros. They're light, warm, and fine for touring. It's all in how they're molded, IMHO.

Does anyone know which stores in SoCal or Mammoth carry intuition liners?
