    Bent Mantra---Common? What next?

Yo, last weekend at KW I bent one of my 184 mantras right in the tip/beginning of the shovel.

Bummer, only about 15 days on them too.

I'm obviously sending them back after so few days, and especially since I didn't stack when they musta bent (noticed them after about 3 runs when it was pointed out on the chair).

Anyhow, that being said, I think I'm going w/ some soft bros. Don't like the stiff tail of the mantras.....I have to really push them w/ my style of skiing to get them around like I'd like...it's a bunch of work.

Thoughts on a good replacement for the mantra?

huh, i thought the mantra was fairly easy to ski, especially with it being softer and having loads more sidecut than a s'ploder....or did I miss the memo?

I have seen 3 pair of Mantras topsheet delam, and one of the skis was bent as well. That ski is soft and has lots of metal so it will bend. I think they are garbage, and ski like garbage.

It's amazing. At the beginning of the year, the Mantra had all the hype. I admit, I was sucked in. But then again, I like skiing them, and find them to be a nice compliment to my AX4's.
Another ski to seriously consider is the TITAN PRO!
