Utah crash space for this week?

Myself and a non-maggot are planning on heading out to UT today or tomorow and bringing the sled and skiing in the Uintas for a few days. My other thread on this topic died, but we have a few questions:

-Looks like snowy weather for at least a week, so our plan to camp out has pretty much fizzled

-How is the snow right now as far as stability goes in the Uintas? Anyone been out there recently?

-possible crash space? We can trade for sled rides in to ski and beers.

    thanks

I'll check with the Mrs - we live in Kamas and have a guest bedroom that is, well, for guests. If you plan on some Wasatch skiing, we may be too far away for your liking.

I may tour out there tomorrow morning - I'll let you know.

Looks like our plans are changing once again....after figuring out our money situation it dosent look like we are bringing the sled. It also is not definite we are coming to UT. All we know is that we are getting in the truck with the road map and driving somewhere minus the sled. We are just too fucking cheap right now and I have skis to pay for. Without the sled we might buy lift tickets if its good anywhere within like 8 hours and/or just tour....

too bad I always make a plan to not have a plan, but it usually works out the best for hitting good snow...

how about skiing at alta/snowbird? I'm not certain yet either, but looking at heading out tomorrow, returning late Thursday, early Friday (have to work sometime on Friday) There's another thread going... I'm trying to figure out how likely a canyon closure is given the winter storm watch to decide where I'd stay.

You are one stoney motherfucker. Anyone want to take bets that he doesn't even get out of Summit County for the week?
