    I'm also new here

    I'm Dave and I live in North Van, mostly. I pretty much spend every weekend in whis. My best skiing buddies live back out east again and the guys I now ride with here aren't really into the same stuff as I am, I guess. They like inbounds, chair accessed stuff and are too lazy to hike anything longer than Spanky's or the Chimney, forget going touring. I guess what I'm getting at is I need some people to ride with, kinda sad I guess, but what can ya do? So if anybody is up in whis and going hiking, or touring and wouldn't mind or would enjoy having another guy tag along, I'm your guy...

    you're right! there's no good skiing off any chairlifts, and hiking in plastic boots is fun! Anybody who isn't into that is lame.

    I'm sure you'll find all kinds of hardcore badasses who skin hours to risk their lives to ski crust.

    a lil bit of A, a lil bit of B... and it does look like a lovely spring for some touring

    and for yetiman, ya, there's plenty of good skiing of the chairs, I just like to hike and tour, specially once all the inbounds stuff has been tracked up... just different tastes I guess
