    Coloraggots: Monday?

Looks like another shot of snow coming through starting late morning/early afternoon tomorrow. Best skiing probably to come Monday...anyone want to make some bc turns? I have to work from about 5:30am-7 or 7:30am, so I won't be able to do dawn patrol...but I can still get started fairly early.

I've got more suits than Liberace, but less than Eastvailhucker.

My skeeze are in the shop getting mounted up... NEW/USED carbon surfs. I could boot back some snowboard action at Berthoud. Vicous, you're a boot-pack only guy right?

I have skins/trekkers, but tend to boot pack more often than not.

    Wanna meet up there??

Yeah, let's do the boot pack dawn patrol... as long as you don't mind being seen w/ a snowboarder.

I can meet as early as you want... gotta roll by 9am.

hmm...afternoon area snow reports and snotel sites are less than exciting. Given really strong winds today wreaking havoc on windward aspects and creating windpacked slabs of 1-2 feet on the lee aspects, along with what will likely be a quick warm-up tomorrow, I'm wondering if it's worth getting out tomorrow... Not trying to be Debbie Downer...just thinking realistically here...

    Thoughts?

Many spots at berthoud were $$$$ today. Full on dumpage this morning, probably 3-4 inches in less than 2 hrs. 80's/90s hucks pretty much fully covered and good to go. Im down for tommorow.

Vicious send me a PM lets git after it tommorow....
    Drive slow, homie.

Indeed, but their snowpack discussion also indicated: "By Monday a rapid warm-up could stress the new snow/old snow bond, so a good chance of a brief increase in avalanche danger is possible Monday."

My advice - Think less ski more. The shots that are regularly tracked are windloaded and smooth, deeep in some places. That snowpack discussion should be used for above treeline non-commonly skied areas only.
    Drive slow, homie.

Overlooked this before...that's more of what I was wondering... The warm-up obviously still something to keep in mind on the sunny aspects come afternoon, but sounds like it may still be worthwhile. Maybe I'll still make it up there around 9-9:30am when I get done working. Since you guys will be sticking to the bootpack, I'll keep an eye out in the lot between laps and ask for change.

Fritz, if you want, I'll give you a call in the morning if I do head that way.

Z are you thinking berthoud tomorrow? Scott would you be cool with that? 80-90s and floral and such should be $$$$

    Berthoud trees make me smile

Tru the rapid change could cause issues, but at least it won't be wet.

Yeah, I'm probably down for that. I likely won't be able to get up there until 9:30 or so...just depends when exactly I can leave the office in the morning.

What time are you guys meeting up there? Maybe I can catch everyone to start the day if you're getting a little later start, or if I don't get there until after your meet time, I'll keep an eye out for you in the lot between laps. You should still bring those freerides, Fritz...if the pack seems ok, I'd be up for going a little further out.

9:00 is unlikely...9:30 probably at the earliest, could easily be more like 10:00 the more I think about it. I'm hoping to leave the office by 7:30, but I'll have to drive across town from Aurora...which is the worst time of the day to do so.

Anybody want to meet up early? I'll be up there around 6:30am... green jacket, bigass longboard. Hollar at me if you see me... I'm definitely down for some 80s-90s car shuttling.
