    RD's been around forever
    I got a bike in my basement also made by RD, also has the same name as the ski's. Coyote... heh

    what I really want to know is why Chevy made the Lumina as a sedan and a minivan at the same time.

    I nearly bought some Heli Dogs in La Grave last winter but they were a bit short. They'd been used >200 days and still had a load of life in them. Fat, straight and stiff. Sandwich construction. I should have got them, they were only asking 40Euros. D'oh...

    Pretty old skis, early 90's late 80's. I think they were made under contract by K2.

    Still a few guys rocking Rd Cold Smokes around here, nice ski.
    No one noticed the description??
    A friend of mine asked me to sell all 22 pair of his skis as he broke both his legs a year ago and has to give it up. With 22 pair, it's hard to use any of them very much.

    The first skis I ever owned were Coyotes. Haven't heard much about 'em in years, though.

    RD Coyotes were "the" cool ski in the late '80s.

    The edge on the bottom ski doesn't look 100% straight.

    RD=Research Dynamics

    Made in Sun Valley, Idaho. I'm almost certain they were made through PRE (Precision skis)

    Mike Brunetto started the company. I think they were originally separate from Pre, then sold to Pre, which was then acquired by Anthony Industries which owned K2, Pre, and Olin. Don't know what happened to Anthony Industries (or if they're still around), but I think Mike Brunetto bought back the RD name some time around '93/'94, and kept it small until ??? I almost certain there were RD's still being made up to the mid '90's.
