Considering he picked up his 3rd foul about a minute into the 2nd half, Tyrus Thomas had an unbelievable game.

Morrison and Redick have certainly lived up to the hype in this year's tourney

Congrats on the big win. I hate Duke so I bled purple and gold last night. Although, I wanted to strangle the LSU players with the stupid turnovers and bricklayers convention at the free throw line. But in the end all is well.

With that said, I disagree with your comment on Morrison. He played an excellent game. Why Batista did not throw that ball back to the guard or Morrison is beyond me. I'm not a huge Morrison fan but he played an impressive game against a very athletic defense.

I hate Duke with the burning white-hot intensity of a thousand suns. And I've always like LSU for some reason, it started back in the Dale Brown days, I loved that kook.

If the LSU guys don't bail for the pros this off-season they're gonna be a scary good team next year. That Temple kid is just gonna get better, and "Big Baby" is the next Charles Barkley. Unbelievably quick for a 300# guy. I was in awe.

They do need to work on their freethrows. What is it about LSU and that? <cough>Shaq<cough>

yesterday might have been one of the greatest ever. i got to watch jj reddick and adam morrison cry on the same night. and i won a couple hundy at the casino. plus i almost blacked out, and some chick bought me three drinks.

it might be the best 24 hour period ever if it starts snowing and u-dub beats uconn. and of course girlski's sister comes over and takes care of me.

Yes, definitely.

On the Morrison thing, I actually didn't see much of last night's game, but I did see his extremely average ~10 pt effort in round 2. So in my mind he didn't qualify for the "put the team on my back and I'll carry them the rest of the way" level of greatness. But again, I didn't see much last night, so maybe I'm way off there.

Regardless, I am right there with ice on the Duke hate. I hate them in down years, too.

I personally think basketball is retarded, (I am short and white and from Minnesota, though) but this post fucking rocks!

hmmm... maybe I should research this first but I don't remember them being on the same team. I think Jackson went to the NBA before Shaq arrived to LSU.
