Euro Mags - Done work early...where should I go?

Fuck yeah, done work on the first of April instead of the 22nd. Where should I go for a road trip? Engelberg, Cham, Verbier, La Grave? Any advice? Any couches? Anyone want to ski?

Snowwise you won't find it any better than where you are right now.
Gonna hit the Paznaun Valley from April 8 on in case you're around and want to hook up for some turns.

You lucky bastard. My guys say that there is just a crazy amount of snow there now. Leaving St. Anton has always been a problem for me as it can be so good......

Hicks, whereabouts? I'm 90% sure I'm going to the Paznaun next year for a month or so. The one that's on the sunny side of the Paznaun . Good for my kids, and looks like great touring for me. I'd appreciate a TR about your trip when you get back.

    Toby,

not sure whether a Galtür family trip qualifies to be posted on THIS forum.
If so I'll do it for ya.

Depends. I'll be doing a family trip next year. I'm primarily catering to my wife and young kids' needs (sunshine and kid-friendly learning area). BUT, the Paznaun looks great for touring from the pictures and topos I've seen. E.g. where I wanna go there's some great lift-accessed backcountry to the north with (easy?) public transport back. From what I've calculated you could do it three times a day, 1400m vertical per lap, with no skinning or hiking. So hopefully I'll get a family holiday with _some_ interesting stuff thrown in for me. I'll just need to find backcountry partners.

... I've just realized I have from April 7- May 2nd effectivly off of school... I'm skiing at Hemsedal in Norway with my dad until the 17th, but I'd be game for ski related trouble after that if anyone's in.
